Skyline Premier Lighting — Christmas Lighting Service Terms
These terms apply to all Christmas lighting services. Your quote lists the specific scope of work and price, and together with these terms forms the full agreement.
1. Services
Skyline Premier Lighting provides:
- Design and custom fitting of lights to your home
- Professional installation
- Maintenance throughout the season
- Takedown and storage of all lights after the season
2. Payment
- A deposit is due at booking to reserve your install date. The deposit is non-refundable.
- The remaining balance is due within 48 hours of installation.
- Late balances may be subject to a reasonable late fee.
3. Scheduling
- Your install date is confirmed at booking.
- Takedown is completed in January, weather permitting.
- Dates may shift due to weather or unsafe conditions. We'll communicate any changes promptly.
4. Ownership of Lights
All lights, clips, timers and materials remain the property of Skyline Premier Lighting and are leased to you for the season. Please don't remove, alter or relocate them. You are responsible for damage caused by negligence or intentional misuse.
5. Maintenance
If any lights stop working during normal use, we'll repair them at no charge. We respond to maintenance requests within 48 hours, weather permitting.
6. Property Access & Safety
Please let us know about anything relevant before installation: pets, fragile landscaping, HOA rules, security systems, outlet locations or known roof issues. Working exterior outlets must be accessible. We may decline any work we determine to be unsafe.
7. No Cancellations
All bookings are final. Because lights are custom measured and cut for your home, the deposit and total price are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we'll work with you to find a new install date within the season.
8. Photos
We may photograph completed installations for our portfolio and marketing. Let us know in writing if you'd prefer we don't.
9. Insurance & Liability
Skyline Premier Lighting is fully insured. A certificate of insurance is available upon request. All work is performed in a professional, workmanlike manner. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for pre-existing conditions of the roof, gutters or electrical system.
10. Renewal
Returning clients receive priority scheduling for the following season. Future season pricing is confirmed with a new quote.
11. General
These terms, together with your quote, are the entire agreement between you and Skyline Premier Lighting. They may only be changed in writing. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
